Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 8, 2026

Riggle is a browser-based multiplayer game. This page explains what information Riggle uses, why it is used, and which third-party services help run the product.

Information Riggle collects

If you play Riggle, the service may store gameplay data including the player name you use, session start and end times, your final score, and whether a run ended because of death or disconnect. Riggle uses that information to operate the game and support leaderboard features.

If you sign in with an email magic link, Riggle receives your account ID and email address through Supabase Auth. If you reserve a name, Riggle stores that reserved name with your account so other players cannot use it.

If you buy ad removal, checkout is handled by Stripe. Riggle stores limited purchase metadata needed to apply that entitlement, including items such as the Stripe checkout session ID, payment intent ID, customer ID, price ID, amount, currency, and completion time. Riggle does not store full payment card details.

Riggle also stores some data in your browser, including your chosen player name, snake color, zoom preference, and sign-in session state, so the game can remember your settings and keep you signed in.

Riggle loads Google AdSense on the game page for players who have not removed ads. Google may collect data through cookies or similar technologies under Google's own policies.

How Riggle uses information

Riggle uses information to run multiplayer gameplay, authenticate accounts, reserve usernames, display live and all-time leaderboards, apply ad-removal purchases, and remember browser-side preferences.

What other players can see

Your chosen player name and score may be visible to other players during gameplay and may appear on Riggle leaderboards.

Third-party services

Riggle currently relies on Supabase for authentication and database services, Stripe for payment processing, and Google AdSense for advertising.

Retention and updates

Riggle keeps account, gameplay, and purchase records for as long as they are needed to operate the service and support account-linked features such as reserved names, leaderboards, and ad removal.

Riggle may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will be posted on this page with its effective date.
